Ireland is home to some of the most beautiful palaces and castles in the world like the Castle Ward, Castletown House and Bantry House. Other famous ones are Ballycastle; Harry Averys Castle, Bunratty Castle, Smarmore Castle, Blarney Castle and Kilkeny Castle. It has many other historical and architectural marvels like Saint Brigids Cathedral, Tayto Castle Factory and Foxford Woollen Mills Visitor Centre.

Ireland’s museums and galleries are of interest for tourists in search of history, art and culture. Cavan County Museum, National Gallery of Ireland, National Library of Ireland, Roscommon Heritage and Genealogical Centre, National Wax Museum, Armada Exhibition Centre and Bru Na Boinne are just some of them.

There are a number of places where you can explore the breathtaking nature with the prominent ones being the Killarney National Park, Dublin Zoo, Abbey Sense Garden, Belvedere Gardens, Glen Gash Pass, Bunratty Folk Park, Mourne Mountains and Irish National Botanic Gardens.

Ireland has many other tourist attractions as well like Connemara, Aran Island, Beara Peninsula, Bantry House and Gardens, St Stephen’s Green, Vintage Car Museum and Phoenix Park, the world’s largest inner city park.

For entertainment there are a number of varied options ranging from planetarium and children’s playcentres to pubs and nightclubs. A few of the famous entertainment centres are Clare Leisure World, Dennis Den Funland, Armagh Planetarium, Rock of Cashel, Galway, West Belfast and Ennis.

Ireland has a temperate maritime climate, which is mild, moist and unpredictable. The best time to visit is during spring or autumn.
