SpEciaL: StraSbourg Strasbourg is one of the most interesting cities in europe. it has always been the crossroads of continental Europe, halfway between Paris and Prague. Strasbourg is an open and cosmopolitan city, where Catholics and Protestants live in harmony and pray in the same cathedral. Its cosmopolitanism and its centrality were some of the reasons why it was decided to make it in 1949, one of the capitals of the united Europe, becoming the seat of the european parliament and the european commission for human rights. It is located in the Lowland Rhine, on the Ill River, near the confuence with the Rhine, in an area where both rivers are divided into several branches.
