Using the U-Bahn you can travel to the always crowded mile-long shopping promenade, the Kurfürstendamm with one of europe’s largest department stores at the end of the street, the KadeWe. Berlin is well-known for its culture and attracts young artists from across europe and the world. Some tourists are said to have never seen Berlin in daylight, as the club scene is one of the best and inventive on the planet. Berlin has given birth to unique forms of club culture and is still considered to be an important melting pot of cultural trends, especially in the electronic music genre. clubs like Berghain, Watergate or KitKat are on the list of international tourists from around the globe. for those who are more into classical or educational entertainment, Berlin numerous museums, collections and galleries, three well- established opera houses, several symphony orchestras, cinemas, theatres and a multitude of other cultural facilities. All in all, the city has more than 1500 events on ofer each day of the year. to sum it up Berlin city is intricately rich with history, art and culture, a pulsating, feverish storm of youthful energy, creative expression and late-night revelry. in Berlin the past is always present, and the present is on the fast- track to the future.
