Glasgow has a vibrant music scene with a weekly average of over a hundred music events, ranging from pop and rock to Celtic music and opera for which there are numerous venues across the city like ABC, O2 academy, the city halls, the Royal Concert Hall, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and Tramway. Many events and festivals are held annually like Celtic Connections, the Hinterland Festival, the SPT Subway Festival, the International Jazz Festival, Piping Live!Music of Clans and Merchant city festival. Festival on the Green is the people’s festival and hosts amazing acts and attractions from all over the world.

Glasgow is full architectural marvels, museums and art galleries to explore. The Burrell Collection, Holmwood House, Hunterian Museum, Provand’s Lordship, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum are a few famous ones.

Glasgow Green, the city’s oldest park, Pollok Country Park, nearby Loch Lomond National Park and the Botanical Garden are also some spots, where Glaswegians come to relax. For some fun, head to Park Bar, Bar 10, Garage, Uisge Beatha and the much acclaimed least Glasgow Science Centre and IMAX.

Glasgow has an unpredictable weather with long, wet winters and misty summers with mild afternoons. The comfortable and pleasant weather during spring makes it the best time to visit.
