Antalya
The summer in Antalya starts in May and ends in September. The most recommended
time to stay there is in May, June or in September. Otherwise it might be too hot, even
for the domestic people living there.
Antalya provides many places worth seeing, e.g. the ancient monuments like the
Hıdırlık Tower or the city walls. Or the Antalya Archaeological Museum. It is exhibiting
findings and pottery from Pamphylia and Lycia, partly from pre-Christian times. If you
are interested in the history of Turkey, this place is really a must see!
After having visited the museum you should take a walk through the historic part of the
city. In Kaleiçi you can find Roman, Ottoman and Byzantine styles and compositions
