SALSA TIP // GRUPO NICHE - 35 ANIVERSARIO

their first album ‘Al Pasito’ in 1979, the title of their latest release ’35 Aniversario’ remains a
mystery.
LA CANDELA - “ON FIRE”
Salsa for the dancers. Six out of the twelve tracks are covers of Joe Cuba’s Sexteto, six are songs by
La Candela. Most dancers know already one of the singles ‘El Guaguancó’ and ‘Para Ella’ having
been played a lot on the floors. But check out ‘Sin Ti’, ’Lo Que Traigo’ and ‘La Pachanga del Barrio’.
SALSA TIP // ORQUESTA SCC - NO PUEDO RESPIRAR
A nice slow song for the dancefloor. Yet after Basta Ya another song with tough lyrics on the problem
of cops murdering on duty.

childhood in Santiago, Dominican Republic. They were discovered via their YouTube channel.

You can’t go wrong with Nelson Freitas’ new single. Nothing surprising but a rock solid classic
kizomba.
